Where are Ravenscroft products manufactured?

Almost all of our products are manufactured at our 125-year-old factory in Poland.

Are all Ravenscroft products handmade?

Most Ravenscroft products are handmade by skilled artisans that have been perfecting the art of glassblowing for years. However, we also offer some machine-made products at a great value.

Are your products leaded? What’s wrong with leaded crystal?

All Ravenscroft products are 100% lead-free and always have been. Lead can be harmful to your health when it seeps into your drink. It can also be harmful to the factory workers who handcraft leaded crystal. That is why we strongly believe against using lead in our products.

How are decanters sized?

Decanters are sized by the number of 750ml bottles of wine they can hold. If the decanter has a stopper, the given height is the height of the decanter with the stopper in place. Please note that no two handmade goods are exactly alike and measurements provided are estimates; products may vary slightly in size or capacity. Why are there bubbles in my decanter?

Many Ravenscroft items are handmade by skilled glassblowers. As with any handmade item, there are occasionally slight variations between products, such as small bubbles. These minor imperfections are generally not considered flaws, but rather are the unique signature of hand-cut glass. If for any reason you are unhappy with your item, please refer to our Returns and Exchanges policy.

Is the stopper made of crystal as well?

Yes, the stopper is made of pure crystal—never plastic, like imitators.

Are your stoppers air-tight?

No, our stoppers are made of pure crystal, and while they are made to fit snugly in the neck of the decanter, they are not made to be air-tight.

My stopper doesn’t fit right/broke. Can I get a replacement?

Our decanter stoppers are made by being hand-ground into the neck of each decanter during the manufacturing process. This means that each stopper is unique, made individually fit each decanter. Therefore, if your stopper breaks, we are unable to replace just the stopper, as there is no other stopper that will fit your handmade decanter.

Though not air-tight, your stopper should be a perfect fit for your decanter. If you receive your decanter and you find that the stopper does not fit snugly into the neck and shakes excessively, please contact our customer service team at Customer Service to assist you.

What type of packaging will my product come in?

Most Ravenscroft products come in a beautiful white gift box with a black satin ribbon.

Are your products dishwasher-safe? Where can I find product care instructions?

We recommend hand-washing most items, especially for our fine handmade crystal. Certain items, such as our machine-made glasses, are dishwasher-safe. For product care instructions for your item, please refer to the product page or contact us at Customer Service.


Order Information

When will I receive my order?

Orders will be shipped out within 1-2 business days from the order date. All orders will be shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. Delivery usually takes between 3-7 business days. Visit our Shipping Policies page for more information about shipping and delivery to your location.

My product arrived broken. What do I do now?

At Ravenscroft, we strive to make your buying experience with us as easy as possible. We have worked to perfect our packaging and make our items as secure as possible using ground shipping guidelines. However, no matter how securely items are packaged, glass can occasionally break in transit. If you receive a damaged item, please contact us at Customer Service within seven (7) business days of receipt of your order. Claims of a later date will not be honored. A replacement for the broken item(s) will be issued.

I received just one broken glass from a set of four. Do I have to return the whole set?

In most cases where just one glass from a set has broken in transit, we can issue you a new glass and you do not have to return the whole set. Please contact us at Customer Service within seven (7) business days of receipt. Refer to our Breakage Policy for more information.

Can I include a gift message?

Yes, simply add your gift message to the Special Instructions section during checkout and we would be happy to include your message with your order at no additional charge.
